Preschool Graduate!

Raia graudated from preschool today. *sniff sniff*

The bus picked her up for the very last time and George got off work early for the event. We drove Errol to a friend of mine's first, before going to the school, because I just *knew* he would not sit through it. And when we got there I saw that I was right. It was *packed* with chairs everywhere, and a table of cookies at the back. He'd have been running all over the place and trying to steal the cookies for sure.

Anyway, there were 5 classes graduating, and Raia's was the first. They danced a little song first, before being presented with their "diplomas". And of course they had on the cute little caps. After they got their certificates the class went back to their classroom to get there things while other classes came in to do their things. Then the students came back to their parents and we had refreshments. Raia cried a bit when she first came back to be with me and George, but I think it was because she knew school was "done", as in not-just-for-today, but really done. She won't be back to this school as a student. :( There's a school carnival tomorrow that we'll try to go to, and then that's it. It'll be Errol's turn next to be a student at this school. He starts in the Fall.
